Funeral services for Mrs. Audrey Wilson will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, May 24, 2022, at New Chapel United Pentecostal Church. Mrs. Wilson, age 89, passed away from this life on Sunday, May 22, 2022, in Collins. Reverend Ken Hickman will officiate and interment will follow in the New Chapel United Pentecostal Church Cemetery.

Audrey Lavon Knight Wilson was born on February 25, 1933, in Collins to Sylvester Knight and Ruth Ainsworth Knight. Mrs. Wilson was a seamstress and a member of New Chapel United Pentecostal Church.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father; her husband, Woodrow Wilson; 1 brother, Calvin Knight; and 2 sisters, Louie Dell Polk and Opal Burnette.

Survivors include her son, Woodie Wilson (Thea) of Collins; 3 grandchildren, Dr. Jeff Wilson (Katey), Dr. Melissa Tucker (Dr. Joel), and Joel Wilson (Heather); 8 great-grandchildren; and 1 sister, Jessie Mae King of Jeff Davis County; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 24, 2022 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at New Chapel United Pentecostal Church.
