Funeral Services for Mrs. Betty Carol Dickens will be held at 12:00pm on Thursday, May 29, 2025, in the Wade Funeral Home Chapel. Mrs. Dickens, age 80, passed away from this life on Sunday, May 25, 2025, at her residence near Collins. Reverend Brian Dickens and Reverend Jacob Lott will officiate and internment will follow in the Cold Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Johnny Norris, Drew Craft, Jamie Craft, Josh Dickens, Alex Dickens, and Lynn Lott.

Wade Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Betty Carol Wade Dickens was born on February 13, 1945, in Collins, to Vardaman Wade and Mary Lee Ashley Wade. Mrs. Dickens was a homemaker and a member of Cold Springs Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Mary Lee and Vardaman Wade; 1 brother, Mitchell Wade; 3 sisters, Doris Jean Pettis, Dale Venable and Cathy Abbott.

Survivors include her husband of almost 65 years, Bob Dickens of Collins; 2 daughters, Kelly (Burt) Craft and Janet (Oscar) Hosey, all of Collins; 3 sons, Bobby Wayne (Tracye) Dickens of Collins, Rickey (Sherry) Dickens of Waxahachie, TX, and Don (Tina) Dickens of Morton; 12 grandchildren, Alex Dickens, Sarah Davis, Josh Dickens, Derek Dickens, Justin Dickens, Aree Harper, Kristen Bagley, Drew Craft, Jamie Craft, Taylor Dickinson, Victoria Hosey, and Ashley Pitts; 21 great-grandchildren; and a very special friend, Melba Norris; as well a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Thursday from 10:00am until 12:00pm at Wade Funeral Home.
