Graveside funeral services for Mr. Bobby Ellis, Jr. will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, May 21, 2021, at the Cooley Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Ellis, age 74, passed away from this life on Monday, May 17, 2021, at his home near Mt. Olive. Bro. Jeff Easterling will officiate.

Wade Funeral Home of Collins in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers will be Nathan Ellis, Cory Ellis, Seth Ellis, Brayden Ellis, Laramie Ellis, and Carson Ellis. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be Paul Ellis and Eric Ellis.

Bobby Carol Ellis, Jr. was born October 20, 1946 in Hinds County, MS to Bobby and Virginia Ellis. He was an Industrial, Commercial, and Residential Painter. Bobby Ellis was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend. He was of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, June Ellis; children, Nathan Carol Ellis (Wendy), Paul Carol Ellis (Rebecca), and Amy Carol Ellis, all of Mt. Olive; 6 grandchildren, Cory Ellis, Seth Ellis, Brayden Ellis, Laramie Ellis, Carson Ellis, and Sarah Anne Ellis Hall; 1 great grandson, Eric Ellis; 1 step-great-granddaughter, Shayna Croft; 1 step-great-great-grandson, Silas Croft; and 2 sisters, Jackie Hogan of Laurel and Margie Rigaud of Grand Isle, LA; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be at the graveside on Friday at 9:30 am.
