Funeral Services for Mrs. Bobette Cole will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at Salem Baptist Church. Mrs. Cole, age 85, of Collins passed away from this life on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at The Arrington Living Center in Collins. Reverend Dennis Campbell, Reverend  Willie Jones, Mr. Cole Walters, and Mr. Greg Collins will officiate. Mrs. Donna Campbell and Dr. Jesse Smith will provide the musical service and interment will follow in the Union North Cemetery.

Wade Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers will be Cole Walters, Seth Walters, Greg Cole, Tim Folks, Daryl Rutland, Doug Rutland, Jeff Rutland, and Jeff Miller. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be Mrs. Cole's nieces and nephews.

Ramona Bobette Folks Cole was born on November 1, 1940, in Independence, LA, to Thelma Luvinia "Tel" Taylor Folks and James Alton "Bob" Folks. Mrs. Cole was a homemaker and a member of of Salem Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, "Tel" and "Bob" Folks; her husband, of 39 years, Albert William Cole; her son-in-law, Scott Walters; brother, Harris Folks; and sister, Cheryl Folks.

Survivors include her son, Owen Cole of Vicksburg; her daughter, Ramona Anderson (Glenn) of Stringer; 4 grandchildren, Cole Walters, Seth Walters, Brandon Anderson, and Brittany Davis; 5 great-grandchildren and one, Mills Mabry Walters, arriving soon; her brother, Randall Alton Folks (Kathy) of Denham Springs, LA; and her roommate and treasured friend at Arrington Living Center, Mrs. JoAnn "Jojo" White; as well as a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Visitation will be Tuesday, August 11, 2026, from 10:00am until 11:00am at Salem Baptist Church.
