Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Bonnie Norris will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, August 28, 2021, at the Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Norris, age 89, passed away from this life on Tuesday, August 24, 2021, in Collins. Rev. Mike Davis will officiate.

Wade Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Pall bearers will be Randy Pickering, Danny Burch, Maddox Spencer, Owen Fairley, Jimmy Norris, Ray Norris, and Ben Flynt.

Bonnie Nell Goodson Norris was born on January 29, 1932, in Sun, to Baxter and Idell Vaughn Goodson. Mrs. Norris was a retired secretary for the Mississippi Forestry Commission and a member of Shiloh Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father; her husband, Phillip Norris; and 1 son, Don Orlan Norris.

Survivors include 1 daughter, Vicki Norris Spencer (David) of Collins; 2 grandsons, Kevin Spencer (Tiffany) of Sumrall, and Dustin Spencer of Collins; 4 great grandchildren, Trinity Spencer, Kamryn Spencer, Jadyn Spencer, and Maddox Spencer; 1 sister, Melba Jean Burch of Mize; and 1 brother, Henry Goodson (Dorothy) of Collins; as well as a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, August 27, 2021 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Wade Funeral Home.
