A Memorial Service for Mrs. Brenda Pittman will be held at a later date. Mrs. Pittman, age 67, passed away from this life on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at Huntsville Hospital in Huntsville, AL.

Wade Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Brenda Kay Pitts Pittman was born on May 6, 1958, in Waynesboro to Dorothy Elean Brewer Pitts and Regonald Clayton "R.C." Pitts. Mrs. Pittman earned her Master of Arts Degree from the William Carey University, where she was the Associate Director of Financial Aid. She was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, R.C. and Dorothy Pitts, and 1 brother, Shelton Pitts.

Survivors include her husband of 37 years, Fred Pittman of Ellisville, and 1 brother, Roger (Cindy) Pitts of Laurel; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
