Funeral Services for Mr. Buster Walden will be held at 9:30 am on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at Lone Star Baptist Church. Mr. Walden, age 71, passed away from this life on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, in Jackson. Brother Danny Forrest will officiate. Interment will follow in the Rosemound Cemetery in Tutwiler.

Pallbearers will be Greg Saulters, Wayne Hynum, Wayne Harvey, David Pouncey, Jeffery Magee, and Mickey Thurman.

Wade Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Carl Clinton "Buster" Walden was born on November 8, 1953, in Jackson. Mr. Walden was a Retired Food Service Manager for Valley Foods, and was a member of Lone Star Baptist Church. He will be remembered as a Beloved Father, Brother, Uncle, and Grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Mary Ellen Rickles Haire and Teddy Haire; his grandson, Clinton Joseph Walden; and a half-brother, Gilpert Walden.

Survivors include 2 sons, Clint (Katrina) Walden of Cordova, TN, and Christopher Walden of Birmingham, AL; 3 grandchildren, Ashleigh Walden, Felicity Walden, and Zachariah Walden; 1 sister, Donna McPherson of Clarksdale; 1 niece, Carla Marie Rushing of Clarksdale; and 2 half-sisters, Kathy Pilgrim and Robin Renfro, both of Jackson; and well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held at Lone Star Baptist Church on Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 8:30-9:30am.
