Funeral Services for Mr. Chris Mauldin will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, October 2, 2026, in the Chapel of Wade Funeral Home. Mr. Mauldin, age 56, passed away from this life on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at his residence near Sumrall. Brother Charles "Tubby" Broome and Brother Brian Dicken will officiate, and interment will follow in the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.

Wade Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers will be Ricky Williamson, Justin Mauldin, Jason Mauldin, Stephen Mauldin, Steve Clark, and Greg McRaney. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jaxon Mauldin, Brian McRaney, and Matthew Cruse.

Christopher Andrew Mauldin was born on December 13, 1969, in Hattiesburg to Oscar Mauldin and Mary Jo Stapleton Mauldin. Mr. Mauldin was a mechanic and paint and body repairman all his life. He was a Baptist.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Oscar and Mary Jo Mauldin; and a brother, Daniel Mauldin.

Survivors include his wife, Charlotte Aultman Mauldin of Sumrall; 2 sons, Billy Jo Mauldin and Levi Mauldin, both of Ocean Springs; 3 daughters, Abigail Aultman and Morgan Dortch (Steven), all of Sumrall, and Alison Aultman of Hobbs, NM; 7 grandchildren; his brother, Mark Mauldin (Debra) of Sumrall; 4 nieces and nephews; and 5 great-nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

The visitation will be from 11:30am until 2:00pm on Friday, October 2, 2026, at Wade Funeral Home, 401 Main Street in Collins.
