Funeral Services for Mr. Danny Bryant will be held at 11:30am on Monday, September 28, 2026, in the Chapel of Wade Funeral Home. Mr. Bryant, age 68, passed away from this life on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at his residence near Collins. The Reverend Thomas Shields will officiate, and James Arrington Goff and Amy Pruitt will perform a musical tribute. Interment will follow in the Collins City Cemetery.
Wade Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers will be Joey Magee, Don Mooney, Robert Hemphill, Leslie Rutland, Mark Leonard, and Gerald Buffington. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ray Steele, David Brand, Denny Britt, and The Men's Life Breakfast Group.
Danny Malone Bryant was born on October 23, 1957, in Collins to Bennie Jean Leonard Bryant and Malone Everett Bryant. Mr. Bryant was a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi and had an extensive career in the telephone industry, retiring from AT&T. Danny Bryant was a lifelong member of Collins Presbyterian Church. He served his church as a faithful Deacon, Ruling Elder, Treasurer, and a Sunday School Teacher.
He was preceded in death by his father, Malone Bryant.
Survivors include his wife of 4o years, Katherine "Kathe" Elizabeth Carnes Bryant of Collins; his mother, Bennie Jean Leonard Bryant of Collins; 2 daughters, Elizabeth Danielle Bryant Berard (Logan) of Collins and Bailey Jean Bryant of Hattiesburg; 2 grandsons, Caleb Malone Bryant and Landon Michael Davis (Jayden); 1 Sister, Barbara Jean Brister of Collins; 1 brother, Thomas Evon "Tommy" Bryant (Sandy) of Collins; and a nephew, Christian L. "Chris" Brister (Melissa) of Collins; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
The visitation will be from 10:00am until 11:30am on Monday, September 28, 2026, at Wade Funeral Home, 401 Main Street in Collins.
In lieu of flowers, friends desiring to make memorials are asked to do so to the Collins Presbyterian Church at Post Office Box 463, Collins, MS 39428.
