A family memorial service for Deloris "Dee" Cornell will be held in Macks Creek, Missouri. Mrs. Cornell, age 92, passed away from this life on Sunday, January 26, 2025, in Collins.

Wade Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Deloris May Gillespie Cornell was born on January 20, 1933, in Coffeyville, KS, to Leverett Raymond Gillespie and Viola Fern Torrey Gillespie. Mrs. Cornell was a homemaker and a member of Prairie Chapel Church.

Mrs. Cornell was preceded in death by her mother and father, and her husband of 54 years, William D. Cornell.

Survivors include 3 sons, Terry (Juli) Page of Boise, ID, David (Brenda) Cornell of Collins, and Richard (Deborah) Cornell of Raymore, MO; her daughter, Sandra Leheney of Lee's Summit, MO; 7 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
