Funeral Services for Doris Wayne Whittemore will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, November 27, 2020, in the Wade Funeral Home Chapel. Mrs. Whittemore passed away from this life on Tuesday, November 24, 2020, in Hattiesburg. Reverend James Walters will officiate and interment will be in the Lone Star Cemetery.

Wade Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers will be Todd Little, Gerad Hudson, Clint Hudson, Tyler McDaniel, Mason Bland, and Nathan Monk.

Doris Wayne Hudson Whittemore was born February 27, 1948, in Hattiesburg to Barnice Hudson and Leasie Mae Lucas Hudson. Mrs. Whittemeore was retired from Fontaine and a member of Lone Star United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her father; her husband, Robert Whittemore; and 1 brother, Mike Hudson.

Survivors include her mother, Leasie Hudson of Columbia; 1 daughter, Michelle White of Taylorsville; 1 son, Anthony Broome (Tabitha) of Collins; 4 grandchildren, Amber White, RayAnn Allen, Bryce Patterson, and Kaleigh Patterson; 1 brother, Randy Hudson (Dale) of Collins; and 1 sister, Rita Dyar (Max) of Hattiesburg; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, November 27, 2020, from 9:30 am until service time at Wade Funeral Home.
