Graveside services for Mr. Doug Baker will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, May 18, 2020 at the Mt. Horeb Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Baker, age 66, passed away from this life on Friday, May 15, 2020 in Jackson. Reverend Eddie Parker will officiate.

Wade Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers will be Justin Norris, Trent Norris, Joel Wilson, Steve Sanford, Ronald Graves, and Blake Wade. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be Charlie Strebeck, Joey King, Woody Wilson, Dr. Ramsey Wilson, Greg McRaney, Brain McRaney, Larry Johnson, and Nathan Smith.

Douglas Wayne Baker was born on August 29, 1953 in Collins to Leon Baker and Allie Mae Graves Baker. Mr. Baker was a retired logger with Bagley Logging Company and worked at Main Street Café. Mr. Baker attended Mt. Horeb Baptist Church.

Doug Baker was preceded in death by his mother and father; 1 brother, Bill Baker; and 4 sisters, Tommie McRaney, Shirley Cook, Annette Stringer, and Linda Shoemake.

Survivors include his wife of 19 years, Wanda Norris Baker of Seminary; his father and mother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. William "Boots" Hughes of Seminary; 3 sons, Brian Baker of Collins and Jamie Norris and Justin Norris, both of Seminary; 6 grandchildren, Trent Norris of Madison, Lilly Norris of Seminary, Eli Norris of Sumrall, and Soliamar Mendiola, Hailey Mae Norris and Westin Norris, all of Laguna Vista, TX; 1 brother, Charles Baker of Jackson; 4 sisters, Patricia McKenzie of Collins, Brenda Bradley of Tatum, TX, and Tootie Allen and JoAnn Smith, both of Mize; 2 sisters and brothers-in-law, Donna and Danny Rigel and Brenda and Dr. Randy Ross, all of Hattiesburg; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
