Graveside Funeral Rites for Mr. Douglas Ellzey will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at the Okahay Cemetery. Mr. Ellzey was 51 years of age and passed away from this life on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at his residence in Taylorsville.

Wade Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors are his mother and step-father, Rosalyn Joy and John Tommy McDaniel of Mt. Olive; his father, John D. Ellzey of Seminary; 1 son, John Ellzey of Taylorsville; 4 daughters, Brittany Ellzey of Summerland, Brandy Sullivan of Taylorsville, Elizabeth Bishop of Mt. Olive, and Kaytlin Ellzey of Taylorsville ; 1 brother, Clay McDaniel of Taylorsville; 2 sisters, Betty Jo Jones of Mt. Olive and Debbie McDaniel of Fredericktown, MO; and 3 grandchildren; as well a host of other relatives and friends.
