Funeral services for Mr. Earl E. Roberts will be held at 1:30pm on Wednesday, May 30, 2018, at Cold Springs Baptist Church. Mr. Roberts, 93, passed away from this life on Tuesday, May 29, 2018, at his residence in Collins. Reverend Wes Garner and Reverend Brian Dickens will officiate and interment will follow in the Cold Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.

Wade Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers will be George "Peanut" Lightsey, Darrel Lightsey, James Earl Anglin, Greg Saulters, Joe Bridges, and Wayne Roberts.

Mr. Earl E. Roberts was born on February 21, 1925 in Collins to Joe and Nora Bell Roberts. Mr. Roberts was an agricultural technician and was an appliance salesman. He was a World War II Veteran, having served as a member of the U.S. Army 3 ^rd Ranger Battalion. Mr. Roberts was a Prisoner of War in Germany. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans Association. Mr. Roberts was a member and deacon at Cold Springs Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father; 3 brothers, Cleveland, Cleatus, and Roscoe Roberts; 5 sisters, Jessie Griffith, Nannie Bridges, Thelma Sanders, Bonnie Peacock, and Jewel Lowery.

He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Helen Roberts of Collins; 1 daughter, Judy Graves (Billy Don) of Collins; 1 grandson, Matthew Graves (Tiffany) of Collins; 2 great grandchildren, Emily and Nate Graves; 2 brothers, Willie Roberts of Prentiss and Kenneth Roberts (Shirley) of Wesson; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, May 30, 2018 from 12:00-1:30 p.m. at Cold Springs Baptist Church.
