Graveside services for Mr. Ed Hudson will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, April 21, 2022, at Lone Star Cemetery. Mr. Hudson, age 89, passed away from this life on Monday, April 18, 2022, in Laurel. Rev. Wesley Kirkley will officiate.

Wade Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Doyle Edwin Hudson was born on April 22, 1932, at the family home in Lone Star to Calvin and Olive McRaney Hudson. Mr. Hudson was the owner and operator of the Hudson's Phillips 66 Service Station and a member of Oakwood Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father; 3 brothers, John Hudson, Loy Hudson, and Jim Hudson; and 1 sister, Ilene Hudson Harris.

Survivors include 1 sister, Evelyn Ruth Hudson Smith of Collins; as well as a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
