Funeral Services for Mr. Dale Williams, Sr, will be held at 4:00pm on Saturday, August 12, 2023, in the Chapel of Wade Funeral Home. Mr. Williams, age 72, passed away from this life on Monday, August 7, 2023 in Collins. Reverend Frankie Clark and Reverend Dennis Campbell will officiate.

Wade Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Edgar Dale Williams, Sr., was born on November 8, 1950, in Greenwood to Edgar D. Williams and Martha Jane Polk Williams. Mr. Williams attended Delta State University and was a retired Controller from Kinder-Morgan. He was a veteran of the Mississippi Army National Guard. Dale Williams was a member of First Baptist Church of Taylorsville and more recently attended Salem Baptist Church.

Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his mother and father.

Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Debbie Williams of Collins; 3 children, Kristy Townley of Braselton, GA, Edgar Dale "Ed" Williams, Jr (Heather) of Madison, and Jane Claire Williams (Chris) of Richton; 5 grandchildren, Taylor Stowers (Tucker), Ansley Townley, Brody Williams, Beau Williams, and Edgar Dale "E.D." Williams, III; and 2 brothers, Ricky Williams (Suzanne) of Ruleville, and Mike Williams (Lisa) of Tupelo; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

The visitation will be Saturday, August 12, 2023, from 3:00pm until 4:00pm at Wade Funeral Home.
