Graveside Funeral Services for Ms. Elaine McRaney Boone will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 7, 2022, at the Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery. Ms. Boone, age 70, passed away from this life on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at her residence in Lone Star. Reverend Danny Forrest will officiate.

Pallbearers will be Chase Boone, Brennan Boone, Patrick Brian Boone, Jackson Boone, Chance Cone, Jason Rogers, and Nathan Hinton.

Wade Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mary Elaine McRaney Boone was born on July 1, 1952, in Hattiesburg to H.D. "Pug" McRaney and Iva Dell Deen McRaney. Ms. Boone was a graduate of the Jones County Junior College. Ms. Boone was a nurse at Covington County Hospital and Hattiesburg Clinic, where she was cherished by her co-workers and the patients she treated. Ms. Boone had a laugh and a sense of humor that brought joy to everyone around her. She was a member of Lebanon Baptist Church.

She was welcomed into Heaven by her mother and father; her husband of 35 years, Edward Menton "Ed" Boone, Sr; and her sister, Judy McRaney Rogers.

Ms. Boone is survived by her 2 daughters, Cassie (Jason) Rogers of Petal and Brandi Jo (Nathan) Hinton of Hattiesburg; her 2 sons, Edward Menton "Buddy" (Tammy) Boone of Sheridan, WY, and Isaiah (Debbie) Boone of Evans, GA; 6 grandchildren, Patrick Brian Boone, Jackson Boone, Chance Cone, Shea Cone, Chase Boone, and Brenna Boone; and 3 brothers, Harrell Edward (Marilyn) McRaney, Dwright (Lynda Gayle) McRaney, and David Joel (Gaylyn) McRaney; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, December 16, 2022, from 5:30 pm until 8:00 pm at Wade Funeral Home.
