Funeral Services for Mrs. Ernestine "Tina" Ervin will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, in the Wade Funeral Home Chapel. Mrs. Ervin, age 86, passed away from this life on Saturday, October 5, 2024, in Collins. Rev. Grover Gunn and Rev. Mike Evans, Jr. will officiate and interment will follow in the Collins City Cemetery.

Wade Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers will be Kevin Sherman, Steve Mooney, Richard Jones, Nathan Jones, William Monk, and Jeremy Norris..

Ernestine Venus Norris Ervin was born on September 3, 1938, in Hot Coffee to Grady and Venus Grubbs Norris. Mrs. Ervin was a homemaker and loved flower gardening. She was a member of McDonald Presbyterian Church.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father; her husband of 69 years, Harold Lex Ervin; a daughter, Dawn Ervin Brunner; a son-in-law, Mike Hudson; and 8 brothers and sisters, Herschel Norris, Lilian Norris, Sue McDonald, Ruth Smith, Cortis Norris, Marie Blackwell, Junior Norris, and Rachel Jones.

Survivors include her daughter, Ann Ervin McDonald (Richard) of Collins; her son, Shane Ervin of Collins; 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and 2 sisters, Helen Mooney of Crystal Springs and Linda Sherman of Taylorsville; as well as a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be Tuesday, October 8, 2024, from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Wade Funeral Home.
