Funeral services  for Mrs. Faye Reynolds Schreiber Kirkley will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, August 5, 2020, in the Wade Funeral Home Chapel. Mrs. Kirkley was 81 years of age and passed away from this life on Friday, July 31, 2020, at The Rose Garden in Ridgeland, following an extended illness. Internment will be in the Cooley Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.

Faye Reynolds Schreiber Kirkley was born August 16, 1938 in Covington County to Frank and Mary Hollingsworth Reynolds. Faye enrolled in nursing school at age 52 at Jones Community College, earning an LPN degree in 1991. She then worked at Covington County Hospital for 10 years, especially enjoying working with the guests who spent their final years living at the hospital. Faye was a member of Covington County Garden Club and Homemaker's Club. She enjoyed Bunko and playing cards and dominos with family. She enjoyed sightseeing vacations with family. She loved the country life, growing and preserving many vegetables and fruits. Mrs. Kirkley was a member of Cooley Springs Baptist Church. Faye will be lovingly missed by family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father; 2 husbands, Gus Schreiber Sr. and Jasper Kirkley; a daughter, Linda Craig; a grandson, James White; 2 brothers, Knox and Sam Reynolds; 1 sister, Emma McKenzie; and a dear friend, Elvin Freeman.

Survivors include 3 sons, Gus Schreiber, Jr (Sherri) of Madison, and JohnSchreiber (Libby) and Walter Schreiber (Dana), all of Mt. Olive; her 2 sisters, Mary Lou Graves (Billy Pat) and Martha Abercrombie, all of Collins; 7 grandchildren, Jerry Jones, Virginia Schreiber, Whitney Schreiber, Emily Schreiber, Elijah Dickens, Benjamin Dickens, Melany Burrow, and Zack Burrow; as well as a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Friends desiring to make memorials are asked to make those to the Alzheimers' Foundation at 322 Eighth Avenue, 16th Floor, New York, NY 10001.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 9:00 am until service time at Wade Funeral Home.
