Funeral services for Frances Speed McKay will be held at 11:00am, Friday, March 30, 2018 at the Wade Funeral Home Chapel. Frances Speed McKay passed away on March 29, 2018 at her residence in Seminary, MS. Interment will be in the Leaf River Baptist Church Cemetery. Reverend Craig Cluff will officiate.

Wade Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers will be Michael Speed, Kenny Speed, Chance Speed, Andy Jackson, Mitchell Craft, and Dee Nelson.

Frances Speed McKay was born in Smith County on May 11, 1952 to William T. Speed and Maudine Ishee Speed. She was a merchant at a country store. Mrs. McKay was a member of the Mars Hill Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her father, William T. "Bill" Speed; 1 son, Eric Easterling; and 1 brother, Larry Speed.

Mrs. McKay is survived by her husband, Joe McKay of Seminary; her mother, Maudine Sanderson of Collins; 2 daughters, Kari Chandler (Mike) of Seminary and Andrea Dennis (Gary Wayne) of Mount Olive; 7 grandchildren; and 1 brother, Kenneth Speed of Collins; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation is scheduled for Friday, March 30, 2018 from 9:30am to 11:00am at Wade Funeral Home.
