Funeral Services for Mrs. Frances Stuckey will be held at 11:00am Friday, December 1, 2023, in the Wade Funeral Home Chapel. Mrs. Stuckey, age 83, passed away from this life on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at her residence near Collins. Reverend Stephen Bush and Reverend Skip Holland will officiate and interment will be in the Springhill Baptist Church Cemetery.

Wade Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers will be Ryan Wade, Chris Stuckey, Justin Hand, Seth Ellis, David Collins, and Aiden Anderson.

Anna Frances Miller Stuckey was born on August 2, 1940, in Laurel, to Guy Daniel Miller and Nora Lee Simpson Miller. Mrs. Stuckey was the retired Director of the Covington County Health Department. She was a member of Springhill Baptist Church.

Mrs. Stuckey was preceded in death by her mother and father; husbands, Thomas Oree Wade and George William Stuckey; 4 brothers, Cecil Miller, Rudolph Miller, George Miller, and Ross Miller; and 1 sister, Evelyn Walley

Survivors include her son, James R. Wade (Cathy) of Collins; her 2 daughters, Felicia Taylor of Collins, and Sherri Wade of Gainesville, TX; 6 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Thursday, November 30, 2023, from 4:30pm until 7:00pm and Friday from 9:00am until service time at Wade Funeral Home.
