Funeral Services for Mr. George C. McCraw will be held at 9:00am on Wednesday, July 13, 2016, at Salem Baptist Church. Mr. McCraw was 83 years of age and passed away from this life on Monday, July 5, 2016, at his residence in Port St. Lucie, FL. The Reverend Dennis Campbell will officiate. Interment will be in the Salem Baptist Church Cemetery.

Wade Funeral Home of Collins is in charge of arrangements.

George Carrol McCraw was born on November 23, 1932 in Covington County to James Wilson McCraw and Mattie Keys McCraw. Mr. McCraw was retired from the U.S. Air Force was a member of Salem Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father; and 2 brothers, Clint McCraw and Rayford McCraw.

Survivors include 1 son, Ricky McCraw and his wife Connie of Port St. Lucie, FL; 1 daughter, Terrie Farmer of Meridian; 1 brother, Freddy McCraw of Jackson, MO; 3 sisters, Kathleen Curry of Shreveport, LA, Lorena Hale and her husband Jack of Collins, and Edwina Peterson of Bosier City, LA; 2 grandchildren, Keaton Farley and Scotlyn Farmer; 1 great-grandchild, Evalyn Farley; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
