Funeral Services for George Thomas Sullivan, Jr. will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, October 12, 2017 in the Wade Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Sullivan, age 87, passed away from this life on Sunday, October 8, 2017 in Jackson. Reverend Joseph Bird will officiate an interment will be in Collins City Cemetery.

Wade Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Serving as Pallbearers are Kevin Lee, Jamie Sharp, John Riley, Jr., Joey Riley, Frank Riley, Jr.,and Jason Riley. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Collins Police Department and Members of the Covington County Bar Association.

George Thomas Sullivan, Jr. was born on October 9, 1929 in Mt. Olive to George Thomas Sullivan, Sr. and Annie Estelle Walters Sullivan. Mr. Sullivan was a graduate of Salem Consolidated High School, Jones County Junior College, the University of Southern Mississippi, and the Jackson School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctorate Degree. Mr. Sullivan was an avid practitioner of the Law and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Bunker Hill #311 Masonic Lodge, York and Scottish Rite Masonry, and the Wahabi Shrine Club. Mr. Sullivan was a member of First Baptist Church of Collins.

Preceding Mr. Sullivan in death were his mother and father.

Survivors are his wife of 61 years, Sabra Riley Sullivan of Collins; 2 daughters, Dr. Sabra Sullivan Majure and her husband Troy of Ridgeland and Keleigh R. Sullivan Mathis, Esq. and her husband Michael of Mt. Olive; 1 son, George Thomas Sullivan, III and his wife Renee' of Mendenhall; 1 adopted son, Greg Davis of Collins; 3 grandchildren, Julie Ann Sullivan Mathis, Zoe' Sabra Sullivan, and Jeremy Puckett; and 1 sister, Sybil Sullivan Truebe and her husband Bill of Orlando, FL; as well as a host of other relatives, and friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday, October 11, 2017 from 5:30pm until 8:00pm and Thursday, October 12, 2017 from 10:00am until 12:00pm at Wade Funeral Home.
