Funeral Services for Mr. Gerry Dennis will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, March 3, 2025, in the Wade Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Dennis, age 62, passed away from this life on Friday, February 28, 2025, in Hattiesburg. Brother John Barnes and Brother Wayne Woolwine will officiate and interment will follow in the Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery.

Wade Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers will be Kristopher Dennis, Joshua Dennis, Clay Dennis, Noah Dennis, Nate Dennis, and Preston Dennis. Hailey Dennis and Georgia Dennis will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.

Gerry Dennis was born on April 21, 1962, in Collins to Dewey Dennis and Hattie Mae Hand Dennis. Mr. Dennis was a mechanic and worked extensively in carpentry. Mr. Dennis was known as a hard worker, and taught his sons the value of a good work ethic.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Dewey and Hattie Mae Dennis, and seven brothers.

Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Patsy King Dennis of Mt. Olive; 3 sons, Gary Dewayne (Andrea) Dennis of Collins, Bobby (Mindy) Dennis of Madison, and Allen (Jessica) Dennis of Mt. Olive; 8 grandchildren, Hailey Dennis, Kristopher Dennis, Joshua Dennis, Clay Dennis, Noah Dennis, Nate Dennis, Preston Dennis, and Georgia Dennis; 1 brother, Tony Dewey Dennis; 1 half-brother, Jerry Dennis; 4 sisters, Sarah Greer, Charlotte Warren, Eva Mae Speed, and Mary Joyce Carter; and 2 step-sisters, Allice Dennis and Agnes Dennis; as well as a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be Sunday, March 2, 2025, from 4:30 pm until 7:00 pm at Wade Funeral Home.
