Graveside Funeral Services for Mr. Harrell Edward "Harry" McRaney will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, July 22, 2024, at the Lone Star Cemetery. Mr. McRaney, age 86, passed away from this life on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, in Duluth, GA. Mr. Dwright McRaney will officiate.

Harrell Edward McRaney was born on October 16, 1937, in Covington County to H.D. "Pug" McRaney and Iva Dell Deen McRaney. Mr. McRaney was a retired BP drilling foreman.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, and 2 sisters, Judy McRaney Rogers and Elaine McRaney Boone.

Mr. McRaney is survived by his wife of 67 years, Frances Marilyn Dolan McRaney of Collins; his son Dolan (Melinda) McRaney of Collins; his daughter, Sonja Neil (Houston) Allen of Duluth, GA; 4 grandchildren, Andre McRaney, Colin McRaney, Jade Currie, and Julian Mills; 2 brothers, Dwright (Lynda Gayle) McRaney, and David Joel (Gaylyn) McRaney, both of Collins; and 1 brother-in-law, James M. Rogers; as well as a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
