Funeral services for Mr. Harry D. "Jack" Mauldin will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, June 19, 2025, in the Wade Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Mauldin, age 90, passed away from this life on Monday, June 16, 2025, at the Mississippi State Veteran's Home in Collins. Reverend Steve Wade will officiate and interment with military honors will follow in the Collins City Cemetery.

Wade Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers will be Reed Abercrombie, Mike Craft, Ben Ford, Travis Waterson, Neal Campbell, and Dave Bender.

Harry Donald "Jack" Mauldin was born on November 10, 1934, in Collins to Melvin and Annie Lee Craft Mauldin. Mr. Mauldin was a paratrooper veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in the 101st Airborne. He was formerly the owner of Mauldin Wheel Alignment and Brake Service in Pascagoula. Mr. Mauldin was also an electrician and worked in the propane business. He was a community service volunteer and helped maintain the lights for Christmas in the Park. Mr. Mauldin was formerly the Collins Weather Reporter for the U.S. Weather Service in Jackson. Mr. Mauldin was a member of Salem Baptist Church, where he had served as a deacon and a member of the church choir.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father; 3 brothers, Charles Mauldin, Ladell Mauldin, and Edward Mauldin; and 2 sisters, Annette Mauldin Knight and Melva Jean Mauldin Rogers.

Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Pat Mauldin of Collins; 1 daughter, Libby Waterson of Sumrall; 1 son, Don Mauldin of Chicago, IL; and 2 grandchildren, Adrienne Waterson of Bolivar, MO, and Travis (Shanda) Waterson of Webb City, MO; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be the Thursday, June 19, 2025, from 9:30am until 11:00am at Wade Funeral Home.
