Graveside Funeral Rites for Mr. Hascal Collins will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, November 7, 2026, in the Collins City Cemetery. Mr. Collins, age 95, passed away from this life on Sunday, November 1, 2026, at his residence near Collins. Reverend Dr. Stephen Wade will officiate.

Hascal Collins was born on November 24,1930, in Collins to Annye McDonald Collins and Tell Collins. Hascal Collins was a veteran of the U.S. Navy with service including the Korean War. Mr. Collins was a retired Horticulturist and Farmer, having co-owned the Collins Greenhouses with his twin brother Harlon for many years. Mr. Collins had a passion for old cars, woodworking, and vegetable gardening. He was a member of Salem Baptist Church.

Mr. Collins was proceeded in death by his mother and father, Annye McDonald Collins and Tell Collins; his wife, Jean Denning Collins; 4 brothers, T.D. Collins, Bobby Collins, James Ray Collins, and Richard Collins; and a sister, Murial Collins Compere.

Survivors include 2 sons, Greg Collins (Teresa) of Huntsville, AL, and Joey Collins (Lori) of Collins; his daughter, Mari Beth Blackledge (Reggie) of Collins; his twin brother, Hascal Collins of Collins; 8 grandchildren, Christopher Collins, Zachary Collins, Tristan Collins, Kendra Collins, Cody Blackledge, Nathan Blackledge, Ben Blackledge (Shelby), and Rylee Blackledge; and 1 great-granddaughter, Mary Ann Blackledge; as well as a host of neices, nephews, other relatives and friends.
