Funeral Services for Mr. Hudson Louque will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, October 9, 2020, at the Salem Baptist Church. Mr. Louque, age 92, passed away from this life on Wednesday, October 7, 2020, at his residence near Collins. Reverend Dennis Campbell will officiate and interment will follow in the Salem Baptist Church Cemetery.

Wade Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers will be James Hicks, Ethan Hicks, Luke Yeatman, Trent Yeatman, Dave Bender, and Quinton Mathis. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be the Deacons of Salem Baptist Church.

Hudson Jonas Louque was born on October 20, 1927, in Paulina, LA, to Carlo Charles Louque and Emmianna DesLetts Louque. Mr. Louque was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was a retired terminal operator for Shell Oil. Mr. Louque was a longtime member of Salem Baptist Church where he served as Deacon. Hudson Louque was an avid turkey and quail hunter. He loved to garden and help his wife Audrey grow beautiful roses.

Mr. Louque was preceded in death by his mother and father; and 11 brothers and sisters.

Survivors include his wife of 72 years, Audrey Louque of Collins; 2 daughters, Vicki Williams of Starkville, and Vivian Yeatman (Thomas) of Columbus; 4 grandchildren, Valerie Hicks, Mark Williams, Luke Yeatman, and Trent Yeatman; 7 great-grandchildren, Kenzie Williams, Daphne Williams, Josie Williams, Kristin Hicks, Ethan Hicks, Julia Yeatman, and Hudson Yeatman; 1 sister, Virgie Louque of Gonzales, LA; 1 sister-in-law, Grace Louque of Gramarcy, LA; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, October 9, 2020, from 10:00 am until service time at Salem Baptist Church.
