It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of our 18 month old son, Hudson
Cooper McBride. Hudson passed away peacefully April 8, 2020, from complications
following open heart surgery. He will be missed dearly, but we find comfort in knowing
he is now completely healed and forever in the presence of our Heavenly Father.
Hudson was born on September 23, 2018, in Cincinnati, Ohio. On February 4, 2019, at
four months of age, he was placed in the arms of his Forever Family.

He enjoyed music and playing instruments; listening to his big sister Isabella sing
songs and read to him; cuddling and playing peek-a-boo with his mom; bath time and
having his hair styled with his dad; being spoiled by his grandparents, and greeting
everyone he met with big hugs and smiles.

He will be remembered as a loving, caring, and determined little boy. Despite numerous
medical obstacles, his determination allowed him to learn to walk, talk, climb, run, and
play tag. His strength, compassion, and resilience were, and continue to be, an
inspiration.

Hudson was a blessing. He brought together thousands of people in prayer, reminding
them to keep their eyes on Jesus. Hudson's life on this earth may have been short, but
his contagious smile and radiating joy made a lasting impression on the hearts of
many.

Hudson is loved and survived by his parents, Ryan and Amanda McBride; his loving
Big Sister, Isabella; grandparents, Brett and Cheryl Oleis, Warner and Phyllis McBride;
uncles, aunts, cousins, and many other relatives and close friends.

A private graveside service with immediate family will take place in Pass Christian, MS,
on April 26, 2020. Details of the Celebration of Life Service in Hattiesburg, MS, will be
announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, Hudson's family would be honored if you would make a donation to
one of the following organizations in Hudson's memory.
Mustard Seed Adoption Consultants' 1720 Foundation - Your donations here will go
towards a grant that will go to a loving family adopting a child with special needs.
USM's Children's Center for Communication and Development - Your donations will
help provide comprehensive services and therapies for children under five at no costs
to the families.
