Funeral services for Mr. Jack Moss will be held at 12:00pm on Thursday, September 17, 2026, at Sanford Missionary Baptist Church. Mr. Moss, age 83, passed away from this life on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, in Hattiesburg. Brother Joe Lott and Brother Clay Williamson will officiate, and interment will follow in the Bullock Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jordan Mitchell, Jaylon Martin, Bryce Craft, John Woods, Frank Craft, Joel Easterling, Rufus Trigg, and Wallace Palmer. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be Nic Diana, Grayling Carter, Thomas Nichols, and Louis Rainey.

Wade Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Willie Jack Moss was born on August 31, 1943, in Sanford, to Iona Byrd Moss and Whitt Moss. Mr. Moss was a lifelong cattle farmer and attended Sanford Missionary Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Iona and Whitt Moss; and his son, Mark Craft.

Survivors include 3 daughters, Jackie (Max) Dyar, LaHoma Moss-Martin, and Tammie Moss, all of Hattiesburg; 1 son, Bryan Moss of Seminary; 7 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and 4 sisters, Annette (Bill) Haplin, Evelyn Moss, Audrey (John) Woods, and Brenda Lott, all of Seminary; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Thursday, September 17, 2026, from 10:30am until 12:00pm at Sanford Missionary Baptist Church.
