Graveside services for Mr. James A. Brewer will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at the Long Beach City Cemetery. Mr. Brewer, age 87, passed away from this life on Sunday, August 2, 2020 in Hattiesburg.

Wade Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

James A. Brewer was born on January 19, 1933 in Wayne County to Luther and Ida Loftin Brewer. Mr. Brewer was a retired inspector for the U.S. Department of Agriculture. He had a second career as a car salesman and attended Liberty Baptist Church.

Mr. Brewer was preceded in death by his mother and father; his wife, Bonnie Fayard Brewer; 1 sister and 1 brother.

Survivors include 3 children, Donna Brasher (Roy) of Richton, James Wayne Brewer (Tatia) of Richton, and Teresa Henderson (Mark) of Petal; 1 step-daughter, Lisa Gatti of Seminary; 5 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and 1 sister, Velerie Watkins of Theodore, AL; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
