Funeral services for Alex Johnson will be held at 10:00am on Monday, September 17, 2018 in the Chapel at Wade Funeral Home. Mr. Johnson passed away from this life on Saturday, September 15, 2018 in Covington County.  Reverend Dennis Campbell and Reverend Nelson Crozier will officiate and interment will be in the Rock Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Eric Lott, Drew Hendry, Kasey Workman, Don McGee, Luke Graham, and Josh McKenzie. Holt Saulters and Travis Cole will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.

James Alex Johnson was born on January 30, 1992 in Brookhaven. Mr. Johnson was an electrical technician and was a member of Salem Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bobby and Ursula Cole; and 2 uncles, Mark Cole and Andy Cole.

Survivors are parents, Tina and Jacky Miller of Collins; his father, James Johnson of Monticello; 2 brothers, Jeff Miller of Collins and Dylan Johnson of Brookhaven; Grandparents, Jack and Mary Miller of Collins, Kathy and Billy McNeese of Monticello; and Don Johnson of Brookhaven; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Sunday evening from 6:00pm until 9:00pm at Wade Funeral Home.
