Funeral services for Mr. James W. McMillan will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, August 13, 2022, in the Wade Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. McMillan, age 73, passed away from this life on Thursday, August 11, 2022, in Hattiesburg.  Bro. Gary Bridges will officiate and Jimmy Davis, Larry Davis, Kay McQueen, and Don McQueen will provide the musical service. Interment will be in the Old Beezer Cemetery in Raleigh.

Wade Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers will be Charles Goldman, Cayden Thrash, Kevin Thrash, Jonathan Anding, Michael Thrash, and Logan Thrash.

James Wiley McMillan was born on August 13, 1948, in Raleigh, to Wiley and Ruby Inez Goldman McMillan. Mr. McMillan was a member of Magnolia Baptist Church in Laurel.

Mr. McMillan was preceded in death by his mother, Ruby Inez Anding; his father, Wiley McMillan; 1 brother, Larry McMillan; his grandparents, Miley and Annie Goldman; 1 aunt, Lettie P. Johnson; and 2 uncles, Grover C. and Audell Goldman.

Survivors include cousins, Margaret Thrash (Mike) of Seminary, Debra Anding, of Seminary, and Grover A. Goldman (Perian) of Laurel; and 1 aunt, Juanita Goldman of Laurel; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Saturday, August 13, 2022, from 10:00am until 11:00am at Wade Funeral Home.
