Graveside Funeral Services for Jean Denning Collins will be held at 2:00pm on Sunday, December 3, 2017, in the Collins City Cemetery. Mrs. Collins passed away from this life on Thursday, November 30, 2017 in Hattiesburg. Reverend James Messer and Reverend Dennis Campbell will officiate and interment will be in the Collins City Cemetery.

Wade Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Jean Denning Collins was born March 24, 1943 in Princeton, NC, to Robert Rudolph Denning and Mildred Card Denning. Mrs. Collins was a retired secretary for the University of Southern Mississippi, College of Business Administration. She was a member of Salem Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father.

Mrs. Collins is survived by her husband of 48 years, Hascal Collins of Collins; 1 daughter, Maribeth Blackledge and her husband Reggie of Collins; 2 sons, Greg Collins and his wife Teresa of Huntsville, AL, and Joey Collins of Hattiesburg; 8 grandchildren, Christopher Collins, Zachary Collins, Cody Blackledge, Nathan Blackledge, Tristan Collins, Ben Blackledge, Kendra Collins, and Rylee Blackledge; 1 sister, LaRue Willoughby of Princeton, NC; and 1 brother, Rev. Robert Franklin Denning and his wife Susan of Hickory, NC; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
