Private funeral services for Mrs. Jean McGee will be held in the Concord Presbyterian Cemetery in Madison County. Mrs. McGee resided in Seminary and passed away from this life on Friday, May 22, 2020 at Asbury Hospice House in Hattiesburg. She was 78 years of age.

Jean Evelynn Castens McGee was born on January 3, 1942 in Canton. Mrs. McGee was the owner of Dance Fantasy and a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi. She earned her Master's Degree in Music and was very involved in the dance and costume arts. Mrs. McGee was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

She was preceded in death by her adopted mother and father, Winston and Lorna Castens Presley; her husband of 54 years, Richmond Jasper McGee; and a sister, Pat Shultz.

Survivors are 2 sons, Daniel Kelley McGee of Seminary and David Nathaniel McGee of Hattiesburg; 4 daughters, Regina Gayle McGee of Hattiesburg, Mary Lucinda Rutledge and her husband Eddie of New Orleans, LA, Alice Poe Gentry and her husband Billy of Moselle, and Kelley Suzette McGee of Hattiesburg; 1 sister, Myrna Jolly and her husband Michael of Canton; 23 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchilden; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
