A Memorial Service for Jesse Suggs will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, June 6, 2020, at Seminary Baptist Church. Mr. Suggs was 74 years of age and passed away from this life on Tuesday, June 2, 2019, at his home near Seminary. The Reverend Dr. Tim Hubbard will officiate.

Wade Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Jesse Allen Suggs was born on July 1, 1945, in Calhoun City to Jesse Goldson Suggs and Doris Smith Suggs. Mr. Suggs was a contractor and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a member of Seminary Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father; and 1 sister, Sue Suggs.

Mr. Suggs is survived by his wife of 48 years, Margie Suggs of Collins; 4 sons, Jesse Allen "Pete" Suggs of Munford, TN, Lyn Allen Suggs of Jefferson City, TN, Charles Jason Suggs of Memphis, TN, and Danny Winters of McRae, AR; 4 daughters, Linda Jividen of Munford, TN, Georgana McLain of Hattiesburg, Brandi Lindley of Atoka, TN, and Teresa Hickman of Summerdale, AL; a host of  grandchildren and great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Marvin Sugg of Trimble, MO, and Robert Sugg of Summit; and 2 sisters, Dianne Armstrong of Pearl and Nancy Larsen of Memphis, TN; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
