Graveside Funeral Services for Mrs. Jewel D. Rogers will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday, November 24, 2021, in the Eminence United Methodist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Rogers, age 98, passed away from this life on Saturday, November 20, 2021, in Hattiesburg. Reverend Greg Biggs will officiate.

Jewel Doris Napier Rogers was born on May 21, 1923, in Seminary to Charles and Ada Davis Napier. Mrs. Rogers was a homemaker and a member of Eminence United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father; her husband of 61 years, Ernest Houston Rogers; 2 brothers, Sennett Napier and Leaman Napier; and 2 sister, Winnie Mae Jordan and Lois Culpepper.

Survivors are her daughter, Shirley O'Keefe of Clinton; her son, Dale Rogers of Seminary; 3 grandchildren, Keith O'Keefe (Donna) of Madison, June Biggs (Greg) of Canton, and Stacy Rogers Thornton (Stevie) of Seminary; 6 great-grandchildren, Kyle O'Keefe (Maley), Ashley O'Keefe, Austin Biggs (Ashton), Hope Biggs, Alex Biggs, and Lauren Mauldin (Joseph); as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
