Funeral Services for Mr. Jimmy Rogers will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, September 27, 2020, at Rock Hill Baptist Church. Mr. Rogers, age 86, passed away from this life on Friday, September 25, 2020, in Mobile, AL. Reverend Nelson Crozier and Mr. Charlie Cone will officiate and Mrs. Debbie Johnston will perform the musical service. Interment will follow in Rock Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

Wade Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers will be Bob Corley, Claude Corley, Charlie Rogers, Josh Rogers, Taylor Chastain, and Roger Thompson. Honorary Pallbearers will be the deacons of Rock Hill Baptist Church.

James Hilton "Jimmy" Rogers was born on July 8, 1934, in Collins to Jim Reese Rogers and Mary Eva Roberts Rogers. Mr. Rogers was a retired USDA Food Grader. Mr. Rogers was a member of Rock Hill Baptist Church, where he had previously served as a Deacon, Sunday School Director, Choir Member, and Children's Church Coordinator.

Jimmy Rogers was a longtime resident of Mt. Olive, before making his home in Wilmer, AL. He enjoyed anything outdoors and nature. Mr. Rogers loved fishing and woodworking, and spent countless hours in his shop creating treasures from all types of wood. Jimmy Rogers loved his community, his Church, and his family. Mr. Rogers was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served with the Corp of Engineers and in the occupation of Germany.

Preceding Mr. Rogers in death were his mother and father; 2 sisters, Louise Draughn and Hazel Thompson; and 1 brother, Chuck Rogers.

Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Annice Davis Rogers; 2 daughters, Melinda Rogers of Denham Springs, LA, and Donna Rogers Hales of Madison; 1 son, Mike Rogers (Debbie) of Wilmer, AL; 4 grandchildren, Halee Hales Chastain (Taylor), Josh Rogers (Chelsea), Halston Hales, and Jamie Howell; 4 great-granddaughters, Catalina Jones, Kinsley Hales, Paisley Howell, and Campbell Rogers; 1 sister, Ann Corley (Sneo) of Alexandria, LA; as well as a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Visitation will be Sunday, September 27, 2020, from 12:30 pm until 2:00 pm at Rock Hill Baptist Church.
