Family Graveside Services for Mr. John W. "Jimmy" Williamson, Jr. were held on Friday, November 4, 2022, at the Collins City Cemetery. The Reverend Thomas Graves officiated.  Mr. Williamson, age 79, passed away from this life on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, in Ocean Springs.

John Wilton Williamson, Jr. was born on February 16, 1943, in Collins to John Wilton Williamson, Sr. and Lula Coulter Williamson. Mr. Williamson was a salesman and the former owner of Collins Housing.

Mr. Williamson was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Joyce Walker Williamson; his mother and father; 2 brothers, Wiley Williamson and Roger Williamson; his sister, Shirley Keys; and 2 granddaughters, Kayla Lundy and Misty Kempson O'Neal.

Mr. Williamson is survived by his 3 daughters, Debbie Lundy (Keith), Stacie Farlow, Darla Kempson (Kevin); his son, Chris Axton; his brother, Bobby Williamson (Ruby); 2 sisters, Louise Sanford and Margaret Rogers (Joe); 3 grandsons, Harrison Farlow, Hayden Farlow, and C.J. Axton; 2 great-grandsons, Sam O'Neal and Tim O'Neal; and 1 "Real Special" Granddaughter, Christy Glass; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
