Funeral services for Johnathan Arthur "Big John" Williamson will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, June 13, 2022, at Calvary Baptist Church. Mr. Williamson, age 53, passed away from this life on Wednesday, June 8, 2022, in Laurel due to a tragic accident. Reverend Glenn Shoemake will officiate, and interment will be in the Williamson Family Cemetery.

Wade Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers will be John Aultman, David Williamson, Kenny Williamson, Jonathan Morgan, Richard Poore, Rustin Baker, Tony Yawn, Keven Dunn, Larry McCarty, and David Brooks. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers are Paul Williamson, Scott Williamson, Clay Owens, Coty Owns, and Mike Allmon.

Johnathan Arthur Williamson was born on Friday, June 14, 1968, in Jacksonville, FL, to Charles Rae Williamson and Josephine Lynn Massey Williamson. Mr. Williamson was in the Oilfield Industry for many years before returning home to start his own trucking and heavy equipment business. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Mr. Williamson was welcomed into Heaven by his father, Charles Rae Williamson.

Mr. Williamson is survived by his wife of 35 years, Tracey Sadowski Williamson of Seminary; 1 son, Jonathan Scott Williamson (Carrie Ann) of Lansing, MI; his mother, J. Lynn Williamson of Seminary; 1 brother, Charles Paul Williamson of Ovette; 1 niece, Candice Storm Taylor (Dale); 5 nephews, Kai Williamson, Austin Aultman (Hannah), Cody Aultman, Edward "Lil Ed" Sadowski, III, and Michael Miles; 2 great-nephews, Dawson Taylor and Grayson Taylor; and 1 great-niece, Lynleigh Miles; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Monday, June 13, 2022, from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at Calvary Baptist Church.
