Graveside funeral services for Mr. Joey Lowery will be held at 5:00pm on Friday, May 10, 2024, in the Rock Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Lowery, age 48, passed away from this life on Sunday, May 5, 2024, in Carthage. Reverend William Leland Smith will officiate.

Joseph Dewayne "Joey" Lowery was born on July 14, 1975, in Magee to Larry Wayne Lowery and Janette Walker Lowery. Mr. Lowery was a Rig Manager for Nabors Drilling Company and was a member of Lone Star Baptist Church.

Mr. Lowery was preceded in death by his father, Larry Wayne Lowery.

He is survived by his wife, Aleisha Lowery of Sumrall; his son, Dawson Lowery of Ellisville; his daughter, Alaina Bree Lowery of Ellisville; 1 grandson, Gunner Hayes Hinton of Ellisville; his mother and step-father, Janette and Michael Comans of Mt. Olive; 1 brother, Yancy Harper of Collins; 1 sister, Robin Lowery of Petal; a half-sister, Bridget Lowery of Mize; a niece, Hailey Tharpe; his father and mother-in-law, William Leland Smith and Charlene Hall Smith; and 2 step-children, Christopher Bailey Coleman and Lleyton Andrew Coleman; as well as a host of other nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
