Funeral Services for Karl W. McRaney will be held at 2:00pm Thursday, October 26, 2023, in the Wade Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. McRaney, age 69, passed away from this life on Sunday, October 22, 2023, in Hattiesburg. Reverend Chad Cummins will officiate and interment will be in the Lone Star Cemetery.

Wade Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers will be Dewayne Fraley, John McPhail, Jeremy Norris, Denvil McPhail, John Mike Hudson, and Joel McRaney.

Karl Wayne McRaney was born on November 3, 1953, in Prentiss, to Elebre and Jewel Saulters McRaney. Mr. McRaney was a parts buyer for Sanderson Farms and formerly worked at the Prentiss NAPA Store. He was a member of Lone Star Baptist Church.

Mr. McRaney was preceded in death by his father, Elebre McRaney.

Survivors include his mother, Jewel McRaney of Lone Star; his wife, Lydia McRaney of Collins; 4 children, Levi McRaney (Morgan) of Lone Star, Brittany McRaney Hall (Ross) of Brandon, Dewayne Fraley of Collins, and Brandi McPhail (John) of Collins; 7 grandchildren, Kase McRaney, Kori McRaney, Mackenzie Hall, Lexi Hall, Xander Hall, Zoe McPhail, and Huntley Fraley; and 2 brothers, Mitch McRaney (Cindy) of Collins, and Paul McRaney (Angie) of Montgomery, TX; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday, October 25, 2023, from 6:00pm until 8:00pm and Thursday from 12:00pm until service time at Wade Funeral Home.
