Funeral Services for Mrs. Kathryn Rogers Bullock, age 90, will be held at 11:30am on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at Seminary Baptist Church. Mrs. Bullock passed away from this life on Sunday, July 21, 2024, in Hattiesburg. The Reverends Dr. Tim Hubbard and Dr. Larry LaBlanc will officiate. The Music Service will be provided by Bob Thames, Steven Sanford, Sr., and Dr. Melanie Hubbard. Interment will be in the Seminary Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Brian Bullock, Brett Sanford, Steven Sanford, Sr., Lee Sanford, Connor McQueen, Alex Sanford, and Jaxson Sumrall.

Wade Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Kathryn Rogers Bullock was born on April 8, 1934, in Jasper County, to W. B. Rogers and Allie Valentine Rogers. Mrs. Bullock grew up in the Eminence Community, and after graduating from Seminary High School she married Donald W. Bullock. They enjoyed 71 years of marriage together. Donald and Kathryn had three children; David, Patricia, and Donald Jr.. Kathryn retired from the Covington County School District where she was the purchasing agent for the vocational center.

She was a devoted member of Seminary Baptist Church for over 60 years where she served in various roles. She loved the ladies in her Joy Sunday School Class and all of her church family. She loved gardening, reading, and spending time with her family. Kathryn's legacy of love, faith, and service will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Mrs. Bullock was preceded in death by her mother and father; her husband of 71 years, Donald Whitten Bullock; and 3 brothers, Fred Rogers, Joe Rogers, and Billy Rogers.

Survivors are her 1 daughter, Patricia Sanford (Steve) of Seminary; her 2 sons, David Bullock (Susan) of Collins, and Donald Bullock, Jr (Pam) of Hattiesburg; 7 grandchildren, Rebecca Bullock, Brian Bullock, Brett Sanford (Memorie), Steven Sanford (Aimee), Lee Sanford (Pamela), all of Collins, Whitney Pendergrast (Lane) and Kelly Gibbons (Josie), all of Hattiesburg; and 13 great-grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Tuesday, July 23, 2024, from 9:00am until 11:30am at Seminary Baptist Church.
