Graveside funeral services for Mr. Kenneth Sanford will be held at 12:30 pm on Saturday, March 6, 2021, at the Welch-Graham Cemetery. Mr. Sanford, age 75, passed away from this life on Wednesday, March 3, 2021, in Seminary. Brother Joe Lott and Brother Clay Williamson will officiate.

Wade Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Lane Sanford, Shelby McDonald, Bo King, James Douglas Sanford, Marlen Ellzey, and Robert Ellzey. Honorary Pallbearers will be John D. Ellzey and the Members of the Cane Creek Outdoor Club.

Kenneth Graham Sanford was born on September 4, 1945, in Collins, to Latrell Sanford and Lula Mae Graham Sanford. Mr. Sanford was a longtime owner-operator in the trucking business, having worked for Buffalo Wood, PGT, and Ellzey Trucking. Kenneth Sanford was also a welder. He and his wife Patsy were active members of the Cane Creek Outdoor Club in Brandon. Mr. Sanford attended Sanford Missionary Baptist Church.

Kenneth Sanford was preceded in death by his mother and father; 1 brother, Doug Sanford; and a special cousin, Howard Pickering.

Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Patsy Sanford of Seminary; 1 son, Lane Sanford (Karen) of Seminary; 1 daughter, Darlene Lyons (Alvin) of Brookhaven; 1 step-daughter, Mandy McDonald (Robert) of Carnes; 5 grandchildren, Karlen and Kaden Sanford, Jared and Abby Morris, and Shelby McDonald (Ashton); 1 brother, Rayford Sanford (Sylvia) of Collins; and 2 sisters, Ellen Lamb (Jack) of Rawl Springs and Vicki Kersh (Phil) of Collins; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Saturday from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at Wade Funeral Home.
