Funeral services for Mr. Larry Sanford will be held at 3:30pm on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at Trinity Baptist Church. Mr. Sanford, age 70, passed away from this life on Saturday, November 5, 2022, in Seminary. Reverend Stephen Hartman will officiate. Interment will be in the Trinity Baptist Church Cemetery.

Wade Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers will be Kyle Smith, Ryan Smith, Hunter Shotts, Reed Allmon, Gaige Walters, Cambell Graves, Austin Thornton, Brandon Thornton. Honorary Pallbearers are Braydon Smith, Brennon Smith, Craig Sanford, Eddie Sanford, and West McQueen.

Larry Nelson Sanford was born on September 6, 1952, in Collins, to Willis Charles Sanford and Jessie Sumner Sanford. Mr. Sanford was a Timber Speculator in the Timber Industry and an active member of Trinity Baptist Church.

Mr. Sanford was welcomed into Heaven by his father, Willis Charles Sanford, as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Janet Clark Sanford of Seminary; his mother, Jessie Sumner Sanford of Seminary; 1 son, Brad Sanford (Beth) of Seminary; 2 daughters, Cherie Allmon (Mike) and Katrina Shotts (Junior), all of Seminary; 10 grandchildren, Jenna Sanford Windham (Caleb), Lindsey Sanford, Brooke Sanford, Regan Allmon, Rayne Allmon, Reed Allmon, Hunter Shotts (Anna), Payton Smith, Kyle Smith (Sammie), and Ryan Smith; 4 great-grandchildren, Kennedi Shotts, Karter Shotts, Lucas Shotts, and Kyson Smith; 1 brother, Michael Sanford (Deborah) of Collins; and 1 sister, Judy McQueen of Seminary; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 1:30pm until 3:30pm at Trinity Baptist Church.
