Graveside Funeral Services for Larue Graves will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at the Lonestar Cemetery. Mr. Graves, age 85, passed away from this life on Saturday, April 13, 2019 in Collins. Reverend Jerry McRaney will officiate.

Wade Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers will be Guy Miller, David Speed, John Speed, Robert Ashworth, Ben Graves, and Jonathon Graves. Serving as Honorary Pallbearer will be Stanton Pedigo.

Larue Graves was born on March 29, 1934 in Covington County. Mr. Graves was a retired Vendor for the Mississippi Rehabilitation School for the Blind. He was a member of Oakwood Baptist Church.

Mr. Graves was preceded in death by his mother, Callie Graves; his wife, Merle Graves; 1 brother, Frank McDonald; and 2 sisters, Marjorie Carter and Gwendolyn Wade.

Survivors include 2 sons, Douglas Graves (Teresa Ann) of Mt. Olive and Ronnie Graves of Carson; 1 daughter, Connie Williamson (Brian) of Collins; 7 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Don McDonald (Laverne) and Richard McDonald (Ann), all of Collins; 2 sisters, Rachel Baird of Taylorsville and Emma Lou Mooney (Curtis) of Seminary; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Tuesday, April 16, 2019 from 10:00 am until 10:30 am at Wade Funeral Home.
