Funeral Services for Mrs. Leasie Mae Hudson will be held 12:00pm on Monday, May 9, 2022, in the Wade Funeral Home Chapel. Mrs. Hudson, age 93, passed away from this life on Friday, May 6, 2022, in Hattiesburg. Reverend Dewitt Baine and Rev. James Walters will officiate. Interment will be in the Lone Star Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Anthony Broom, Gerad Hudson, Clint Hudson, Todd Little, Mason Bland, and Tyler McDaniel. Honorary pallbearers will be Rick Little, Hudson Little, Tate Little, Matthew Guidry, and J.C. Keys.

Wade Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Leasie Mae Lucas Hudson was born on February 5, 1929, in Lamar County, to Leonard and Allie Williamson Lucas. She was a loving mother and homemaker. Mrs. Hudson was a member of Lone Star United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Hudson was preceded in death by her mother and father; her first husband, Barnice Alvin Hudson and her second husband, Luther T. Graves; 1 daughter, Doris Whittemore; 1 son, Carl Michael Hudson; 1 granddaughter, Stacy Shontae Little; and 2 brothers, Norman Lucas and Billy Lucas.

Survivors include her daughter, Rita Dyar (Max) of Hattiesburg; her son, Randy Hudson (Linda) of Collins; 7 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Charlsie Broom (Lloyd) of Columbia and Nell Giannini of Mobile; and 2 brother, Dwayne Lucas (Erma) and Roy Lucas (Peggy), all of Sumrall; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Monday from 10:00am until 12:00pm at Wade Funeral Home.
