Graveside Funeral Services for Leonard E. Padgett, Jr. will be held at 10:00am,Tuesday, July 4, 2017, at Bullock Cemetery in Sanford. Mr. Padgett passed away from this life on Saturday, July 1, 2017 in Hattiesburg. Reverend Rhonda Mitchell will officiate and interment will be in Bullock Cemetery.

Wade Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Bounds, T.J. Padgett, Randy Craft, Nathan Craft, Randy Raborn, and Gary Burt.

Leonard E. Padgett, Jr. was born October 16, 1941 in Lumberton to Leonard E. Padgett, Sr. and Hattie Mae Graves Padgett. He was retired from Dairy Fresh Milk Company in Hattiesburg and was a U.S. Army Veteran, having served in Korea. Mr. Padgett was a Baptist.

Leonard Padgett, Jr. was preceded in death by his mother and father; 2 sisters, an infant and Rose Padgett; and 1 great-grandson, Noah O'Flynn.

Mr. Padgett is survived by his wife, Annie Melton Padgett of Seminary; 3 daughters, Threasa Bounds and her husband Tommy of Newport, TN, Debbie Bullock of Seminary, and Susie Craft and her husband Randy of Seminary; 4 grandchildren, Tabitha Bullock, T.J. Padgett, Lauren Bullock, and Nathan Craft; 3 great-grandchildren, Jaxon Padgett, Marley O'Flynn, and Colton Craft; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, friends desiring to do so are asked to make memorials to The Asbury Hospice House 304 S. 40th Ave. Hattiesburg, MS 39402.

Visitation will be Monday, July 3, 2017 from 5:30pm until 8:00pm at Wade Funeral Home.
