Funeral Services with Military Honors for Mr. Mack Graham will be held at 12:30pm on Saturday, January 29, 2022, in the Chapel at Wade Funeral Home. Mr. Graham, age 89, passed away from this life on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, in New Orleans, LA. Reverend Charles "Tubby" Broome will officiate. Interment will be in the Highland Cemetery in Hattiesburg.

Pallbearers will be Jim Graham, Neal Graham, Jeffrey Graham, Steve Wise, Matthew Wise, and Ethan Wise.

Wade Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Joseph Maxwell "Mack" Graham was born on June 2, 1932, on the family farm in Jefferson Davis County, to James Marion Graham and Myrtle Delilah McRaney Graham. Mack Graham was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Southern Mississippi. Mr. Graham retired as Comptroller and Accountant from the Weyerhaeuser Corporation. He was a member of Victory Baptist Church.

Mr. Graham was known for his fishing skills on local rivers, lakes, and the Ross Barnett Reservoir. He was quick to correct someone that his success as a fisherman was more science and not luck. Mack Graham enjoyed sharing his catch with those around him, almost as much as catching the fish. Mack Graham enjoyed repairing clocks and watches, restoring old fishing tackle, and sharing laughter and encouragement with everyone.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father; his wife of 60 years, Mrs. Virginia Cotton Graham; 1 sister, Nellie Graham Smith; and 2 brothers, Edwin Graham and David Graham.

Survivors are his 2 sons, James Maxwell Graham (Catherine) of King George, VA, and Richard Neal Graham (Irma) of Decatur, AL; 7 grandchildren, Abbie Virginia Bowick, Daniel Joseph Graham, Sarah Grace Arnette, Jeffrey Nathan Graham, Alena Michelle Thomas, Jessica Rose Williamson, and Clayton Eugene Thomas; 15 great-grandchildren; 1 brother, Billy Sam Graham, of Collins; and 2 sisters, Katherine Abercrombie (Hardy) of Seminary and Huldah Ingram of Hattiesburg; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 29, 2022, from 11:00am until 12:30pm at Wade Funeral Home.
