Funeral Services for Ms. Marie Culpepper will be held at 2:30 pm on Saturday, January 18, 2025, in the Wade Funeral Home Chapel. Ms. Culpepper, age 76, passed away from this life on Thursday, January 16, 2025, in Hattiesburg. Brother James Saucier will officiate and interment will follow in the Collins City Cemetery.

Wade Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers will be Layton Austin, Darren Lott, James Arron Egbert, Billy Joe Lott, Jimmy Lee Lott, and Jeremy Frat. Jeff Sanford, Jr. will serve as Honorary Pallbearer.

Willie Marie Lott Culpepper was born on February 18, 1948, in Sanford to J.W. "Buster" Lott and Virgie Garrick Lott. Ms. Culpepper was a homemaker and a member of Center Ridge Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Virgie and Buster Lott; her husband, Randolph Culpepper; 2 children, Junior Shuemaker and Susan Shuemaker; a sister, Betty Rutland; a brother, Billy Lott; and 2 step-children, Randy Culpepper and Martha Sanford.

Survivors include her son, John (Tammy Jo) Hollingsworth of Seminary; daughter-in-law, Peggy Shuemaker of Collins; 7 grandchildren, Michael Hall, Matthew Greene, Zachary Greene, Shawna Hollingsworth, Angela Norris, Justin Shuemaker, and Josh Shuemaker; 7 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Jackie (Betty) Lott of Seminary, and Jimmy (Nora) Lott of Collins; 2 step-children, Virgil Ray Culpepper and LeRoy Culpepper; 9 step grand-children; and 1 step great-grandchild; as well as a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 18, 2025, from 1:00 pm until 2:30 pm at Wade Funeral Home.
